Kingston, September 27 - The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport and the Ministry of National Security will be partnering to unearth and develop talent and to upgrade sport infrastructure within institutions falling under the Department of Correctional Services.
The Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport (MCGES) has said that Jamaica could consider carving out a niche market in relation to the sports goods industry comprising of equipment, accessories, and apparel.
Plans are on track for the establishment of a permanent monument to Jamaica’s top cultural icon, Louise Bennett Coverley, Miss Lou.
